Breakfast Seminar: International Contracts
14. February 2020, 08:30 - 10:30
Wikborg Rein, Klubben, Olav Kyrres gate 11, 3 floor, Bergen
Event registration is closed.
The market is international and several of our members are expanding. In this respect we invite you to a seminar that will provide you with knowledge on key matters to consider when entering into international contracts.
Negotiating and entering into contracts with companies from outside of Norway is a way to expand business. However, many foreign entities demand that their standard terms and conditions apply, or will only accept minor deviations. In such situations, the Norwegian entity has to consider the risks and "where to pick the battle".
In this seminar, Wikborg Rein will share their insight, experience and knowledge on key matters to consider when negotiating and entering into international contracts. What are typical "red flags", where should you insist on changes, and are there any clauses or mechanisms which could be introduced in order to mitigate risk? The seminar will be held by Partner and China-expert Christian James-Olsen, and Senior Associate Knut Magnussen.
