Funding for New Innovation Projects

The Research Council of Norway (NFR) announces funding of 900 million Norwegian kroner for new innovation projects. The deadline for proposal submissions is 12 October 2016.

The funding will be advertised through eight programmes in the fields of: petroleum, energy, climate and environment, agriculture, fisheries and aquaculture, maritime, nano- and microtechnology, and other industries and areas of research. New Ocean Technology Programme

This year, the Research Council of Norway has announced a new ocean technology programme “Havteknologisatsingen”, encouraging the transfer of skills and technologies across the ocean-related industries with the aim of creating new jobs and increased value creation.

- Ocean Innovation is a strategic focus area for GCE Subsea, and our partners and members are strategically positioned to succeed in new ocean related markets, says Gisle Nondal, R&D Manager at GCE Subsea.
