Online Subsea Awareness and Training

Subsea1.com is an innovative web based subsea training portal, and licenses to access this are now available to GCE Subsea partners and members at a discounted price.

The Subsea awareness and training portal was developed through a joint industry project (JIP) between the Norwegian Oil and Gas association (NOG), Operators, Equipment Suppliers and GCE Subsea.

The portal uses state-of-the-art IT technology to present user-friendly explanations of the concepts and components for Subsea field developments, including 3D illustrations, diagrams, photos, videos and self-assessments. It is based on the wiki concept, making it easy to add more content based on standard templates. As of January 2016 more than 5000 users have registered.

User licenses can be obtained at Subsea1.com with a 30 per cent discount amounting to 350 Norwegian Kroner per license, for GCE Subsea partners and members.
