More Pre-Project Funding

GCE Subsea supports members and partners’ ideas with pre-project funding.

Pre-project funding from GCE Subsea is aimed towards preliminary project work. This could be to mobilise a project and/or to conceptualise an idea, and gaining external funding for a main project through e.g. Innovation Norway, the Research Council of Norway, EU or similar.

Who Can Apply

To receive pre-project funding from GCE Subsea, your project must have minimum two partners where:

• at least one is an industrial company
• at least one is a partner or member of GCE Subsea

We especially encourage joint projects between several companies and R&D partners, as well as projects with international partners. The project may have partners outside the cluster, or seek to establish such a collaboration.

Focus on Digitalisation

We welcome ideas and projects within any areas, but we are currently primarily focusing on digitalisation and Industry 4.0. This includes topics such as smarter sensors, data integration, robotisation and automation. GCE Subsea has the following RDI focus areas:

• Measurement science and monitoring systems
• Big Data (modelling, simulations, decision support and visualisation)
• Materials and manufacturing technology
