CEO Forum – An Annual Highlight
Superclusters, new technology, and the governments Ocean Strategy are some of the themes on the agenda at this year’s CEO Forum. To present for us is Professor Torger Reve, Statoil, DNV GL and State Secretary Roy Angelvik among others.
CEO Forum is an annual meeting place exclusively for executives of companies and organisations affiliated with GCE Subsea. The main focus of the programme this year is addressing the transformation of the subsea industry in the downturn we are experiencing today and moreover what challenges, but also opportunities this creates for the ocean industries.
State Secretary Roy Angelvik will go in to the Norwegian Governments Ocean Strategy, and Professor Torger Reve will introduce us to innovate ecosystems and superclusters.
Furthermore, we will hear Statoil’s take on innovation and new technology and DNV GL’s input on digitalisation as a competitive advantage.
GCE Subsea as Strategic Tool
We will through our two panel debates discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie within the subsea industry at present, and how GCE Subsea can work as a strategic tool for the industry accordingly. GCE Subsea’s management and the board will use this valuable input from the industry as strategical guidelines ahead.

With CEO Forum we create an arena where decision makers in the cluster can become better known, interact, present and discuss important challenges for the cluster and the players' development. This is also an arena where GCE Subsea presents key themes and issues for the future of the cluster.
As part of GCE Subsea's work and actions for supporting the restructuring of the industry, CEO Owe Hagesæther will provide a status from some of GCE Subsea projects. These are projects that will increase value creation and create jobs. This is the eight, consecutive year that CEO Forum is held, and participation is by invitation
