GCE Subsea Nominated for the SIVA Award 2018

We are honored to learn that our cluster, as one of five nominees, are in the semifinal to receive the Siva award this year. We would appreciate your vote.

Siva received all-in-all 22 nominations where the following five actors are in the semifinal at present:

• GCE Subsea
• Ålesund Kunnskapspark
• Trygg Nøsted Kjetting AS
• Fjord Service AS
• Brødrene Aa

Reason for Nomination

GCE Subsea is nominated for the clusters initiatives, projects and results in expanding the Norwegian Subsea industry into new related markets such as the next generation seafood farms and offshore renewables.

This has opened up new markeds for the cluster members and helped secure their cashflow and reducing their operational risk. These initiatives and projects has also accelerated innovation and delvelopment in these related markets.

GCE Subsea’s effort in these project has substansially given industrial content and force into the new green sustainable future.

The Siva Award

The Siva Award criteria are in line with the theme of the Siva conference this year which is «The Comprehensive Interaction» and Siva are seeking environments that are:

• greener
• smarter
• more innovative
• have built a culture for interaction and knowledge sharing

A jury and a public webpoll combined will decide the top 3 candidates, and a finale voting and appointing the winner will take place at the Siva Conference 5 June.
