CCB Subsea has been awarded a long-term and nationwide framework agreement with Norske Shell for the delivery of engineering services, maintenance of subsea equipment and recertification of well control equipment.

The agreement has a duration of 3 years, plus options, for Norske Shell installations on the NCS.

Develops Cooperation

In recent years, CCB Subsea and Shell have collaborated on engineering, maintenance services and offshore operations. The cooperation has now been extended and formalised through the agreement, which also covers recertification of well control equipment.

– The agreement represents a milestone for both CCB Subsea and the subsea market. The market is changing, and for the first time, an independent maintenance contractor such as CCB Subsea delivers a full recertification of critical well control equipment, says Nils Fr. Fjærvik, CEO at CCB Subsea AS.

Countrywide Business Model

– We have built a solid foothold in the subsea market with our business model. Our delivery of risk-based and cost-optimised solutions is a highly competitive alternative for customers. This contributes to healthy and long-term guidelines for the further development of the subsea market.

Our presence at all CCB and NorSea Group base locations represents a unique mix of flexibility and predictability, Fjærvik concludes.
