Free Subsea Training Portal

Subsea1.com is a web based subsea training portal free of charge for non-commercial use in schools and universities.

Subsea1.com was developed through a joint industry project (JIP) between the Norwegian Oil and Gas association (NOG), operators, equipment euppliers and GCE Subsea. The purpose is to gather basic subsea-related product information and training in one place and make it accessible and affordable for users globally.

Education

The portal is cloud based, and run by state-of-the-art IT technology to present user-friendly explanations about the concepts and components for subsea field developments, including 3D illustrations, diagrams, photos, videos and self-assessments. It is based on the wiki concept, making it easy to add more content based on standard templates

Several schools and universities have already implemented Subsea1 as part of their educational material.
