Students Engaged in Wave Energy

For the second time, students from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen do their bachelor theses with topics based on Waveco's wave energy technology.

On 12 February 2019 eight students and their supervisor visited Waveco's cooperative enterprises Stadt Towing Tank AS and Easy Form AS near Måløy.

Waveco AS was founded 1 November 2015 in Selje by Inge Bakke to develop his patented wave power idea, which he later called Subwave. Local industry Stadpipe AS has assisted in the making of the first model of the device and testing opportunities are available locally, in the 185 meters long Stadt Towing Tank AS.

Waveco welcomes industrial partners and investors with a genuine interest in developing green solutions.
