UTC is fast approaching and we wanted to tell you more about key note speaker Graham:

Graham Henley is Vice President Engineering in Royal Dutch Shell’s Projects & Technology organisation. He leads Shell’s global engineering capability including teams providing process and discipline engineering support to Shell’s upstream, LNG and downstream assets worldwide.

Graham joined Shell in 1983 after completing a degree in Electronic Engineering. Graham’s career has been predominantly in engineering and projects. From 2013 to 2018 he was Shell’s VP Conventional Oil & Gas Projects, accountable for the delivery of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects in Shell’s upstream heartlands including UK, Norway, Netherlands, Nigeria, Iraq, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Graham will present Engineering the future: The role of engineers in transforming our industry on day 1 of UTC.

The Subsea Award is designed to recognize the many outstanding achievements within the subsea industry

The award can be given to a person or a group of people that have contributed to knowledge and understanding in subsea technology through new products, services and/or processes.

About UTF and the Jury

On the basis of the Underwater Technology Foundation's (UTF) position in the industry, UTF will credit the individuals behind new breakthroughs and innovation. Furthermore, they will share the story of the winner, not only with you, but also through their partner Offshore Engineer, to a wider audience outside the UTC conference halls.

The objective is to tell everyone with a brilliant idea what it takes to succeed and what all the work resulted in for the industry. The jury has been appointed by the UTF board and consists of prominent individuals from valuable UTF partners.
