Business Opportunities in China
We will showcase how technology from the Norwegian oil and gas sector have been used in other industries at the Norway-Asia Business Summit (NABS) in Shanghai this week.
Together with the GCE NODE and GCE Blue Maritime, we will host a session on Crossover Technologies, showcasing leading crossover examples from our three clusters Friday 1 November.
Crossover Cases
In 2008, our cluster member 4Subsea had the vision that drilling operations on the Skarv field in the Norwegian North Sea ought to be controlled by actual measurement data rather than design parameters alone. They successfully commercialized this vision and they will share their experiences at NABS.

The main objective of the conference is to strengthen both trade and investments between Norway and Asia by encouraging cross-border cooperation amongst leading institutions, companies, and technology clusters. The overall focus and theme of the conference this year is “OceanTech 2019”.
