Our Second Growth Programme has Started
Eight companies are attending this year’s 100 ScaleUPs programme organised among others with the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship in Boston.
The participants who took part in our 100ScaleUPs (pilot) programme in 2018, state that they have learnt important methods within scaling philosophies, strategic tools and the mindset needed to develop their businesses to grow and expand.

Target Group
We have modified the programme from feedback we received last year, but the main components and the content is the same, says Owe Hagesæther, CEO of GCE Ocean Technology.
The target candidates for this programme are SME’s with the right management resources, technology readiness level as well as the competence, to really grow and internationalise, thus becoming the future value- and job creators in Norway, adds Owe Hagesæther.
Companies Attending in 2019
The companies attending have to qualify for the programme and there were four members from GCE Ocean Technology that applied and qualified for the ScaleUPs programme in 2019:
• Metas
• Unitech Offshore
• Aquafarm Equipment
• Imenco
In addition, three Health-Tech companies and one Ocean-Tech company from the Oslo region have qualified and will attend the programme. They are; Decon-X, Mentis Cura, Prediktor AS and Prediktor Instruments.
The Modules
The modules in this 12 week programme involves four national gatherings in Oslo and Bergen, regular, regional gatherings and one week at the Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship for MIT in Boston.

The 100ScaleUPs programme is a collaboration among Martin Trust Center for Entreprenuership at MIT, GCE Ocean Technology, BI Norwegian Business School and VIS.
The programme goal is to accelerate growth and internationalisation for companies that potentially has the knowledge, technology and skills needed.
