Experienced Investors Discover uSEA
Kjeller Innovasjon and private investors will invest 2 mill. NOK in uSEA – a leading provider of sustainable and autonomous marine surveys.
uSEA works to step-change autonomy for marine and underwater robotics to offer seabed surveys and mapping, pipeline and subsea cable inspection as well as environmental monitoring.
In 2019 uSEA received about 6.5 million NOK from the Research Council of Norway to develop its active towed docking station for AUVs.
Private Placement with Experienced Investors
In March, Kjeller Innovation reported that they will, together with a number of private investors, participate in the private placement of a total of 2 mill. NOK in uSEA.
Kjeller Innovation develops companies from an early stage and invests pre-seed capital in the candidates that demonstrate execution power and outstanding potential.

Late last year uSEA was also incorporated into ESA BIC Norway, the national aerospace incubator administered by Kjeller Innovation.
