The UK Perspective on our Subsea Innovation Day
We are pleased to inform you that The Oil & Gas Technology Centre (OGTC) in the UK will be presenting at our digital conference: Subsea Innovation Day 28 April. The event is open for all and free of charge.
The goal of the OGTC is to unlock the full potential of the UK North Sea, anchor the supply chain in North East Scotland and inspire to a culture of innovation and transformation.
Roadmap for the Industry
Graeme Rogerson is Project Manager in the OGTC, and will present their technology roadmap and examples of new technologies in the pipeline. We will learn how the UK works towards zero emission from oil and gas production, as well as their transitioning into renewable energy.
Furthermore, about how the UK have organised their research, innovation and support schemes, and how Norwegian companies can interact with them.
Finally, they will give us the insights about how the UK is affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact they expect it will have on the industry going forward.
Operators Perspective
Our Subsea Innovation Day will, as always, focus on technology challenges and opportunities. We are very pleased to announce that at least three operating companies will share their perspectives on the subsea industry.
Moreover, leading technical experts from Equinor, Repsol and Lundin have been confirmed, and we hope to get presentation from ConocoPhilips as well.
This year’s topic will be digitalisation, with main focus on; autonomy, underwater internet of things, communication, robotics, advanced data analysis, sensing, survey and inspection.
We welcome you all to join us.
