The fifth International Conference on Maritime Hydrogen and Marine Energy will go on as planned from 14 – 15 October, in an exciting digital format.

This article was first published 19 May 2020.

The health of our speakers and participants is our top priority. Due to the the Covid-19 situation, we have found that the best way to deliver the conference this year is digitally, but without compromising on the quality.

Important Topics to be Discussed

The conference is divided into the following four sessions covering different topics:

  • Global Energy Situation
  • Hydrogen Vessel Projects
  • Island Off Grid Energy Systems
  • Stepping forward

The last session focuses on exciting projects with possibly high value for the future.

We will be hearing from high profiled speakers from i.e. Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Europe, Canada and USA whom represent the uppermost knowledge on their subject areas and will give you updates on their ongoing projects.

A Varied Conference

We want you to get excited when participating at the fifth International Conference on Maritime Hydrogen and Marine Energy.

Each of the four sessions starts with a profiled keynote speaker making his or her presentation. The next two presentations are run as interviews, offering a more interactive and dynamic setting.

During each session a panel will be commenting and discussing on the presented topics. The three panel participants are all world leading energy and hydrogen professionals.

Any questions you might have can be addressed in the real time Q&A sessions running parallel to every presentation and interview.

Workshops

Several workshops will conclude both days. Each workshop will begin with a short presentation from one or two experts, followed by a discussion between the presenter(s) and participants with a focus on a specific theme and challenge.

Every workshop should deliver some answers or solutions to be taken forward. There are many possible workshop topics on the agenda. We encourage you to give us your input on workshop topics within May 25.

Excited about Digital conference

This is the first time our conference goes digital, and we are quite excited about this new format which provides an opportunity to reach an extended audience throughout the world.

We look forward to seeing you digitally at the conference!
