Minister Tina Bru to Open Marine Minerals Seminar
We are pleased to announce that the Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy Tina Bru will be giving the opening speach at our Marine Minerals - One Day Seminar 3 June.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has been responsible for managing the exploration and recovery of mineral deposits on the Norwegian continental shelf since 2017.
Bru’s introduction will be followed by Cecilie Myklatun, Chief specialist Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy who will present the management of marine minerals on the Norwegian continental shelf and give us the status on the Norwegian opening process.
A Comprehensive Programme
GCE Ocean Technology and Norwegian forum for Marine Minerals (NMM) have joined forces to create a great programme for you at our digital one-day conference 3 June.
- We are very pleased to present an international programme covering key aspects of marine minerals, says Jon Hellevang R&D Manager in GCE Ocean Technology and head of the programme committee.
The programme will consist of the following four sessions:
- Legal framework
- Resource potential and exploration technology
- Environmental aspects
- Autonomous systems and production technology
Each session will be followed by a dialogue between the presenters, giving you the opportunity to get answers to your questions.
