TECHNI Receives Prestigious Award Again
TECHNI receives the 2021 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Spotlight on New Technology Award® for its PACT product.

OTC recognizes innovative thinking and showcases the latest and most advanced technologies that are leading the industry into the digitized, autonomous future. TECHNI receives with this its 3rd award in 10 years, a noticeable achievement from a small sized business in a small sized country.
PACT digital pressure control system is thoroughly welcomed as the future of electrically operated fields. It lowers CAPEX and OPEX and have a severe positive impact on the environment energy-wise and pollution-wise, as well as saving massively on volume and weight offshore.
The product is valve closing actuation and control system with a patent pending failsafe mechanism all rolled into one electric actuator product with superior features that sets it heads above other solutions. The design is made in such a clever way that it allows drop-in replacement of old, less pollution-safe technology without big changes to existing infrastructure.

PACT | Project
TECHNI have through its sister company TECHNI OILFIELD PRODUCTS developed electric actuation since 2006 and is licensed to produce electric equipment for explosive areas.
The partners supporting the product development have been Equinor and BakerHughes. The project was further supported by Innovation Norway under an industrial research and development contract, and by The Research Council of Norway under the DEMO2000 program.
