Bjarte Horn is the new general manager of the Ocean Innovation Catapult Centre
Coming from a position in VIS, he brings extensive experience from working with innovation also within the ocean industries.
Moreover, Bjarte has experience from reputed organisations like Equinor, Capgemini and the Norwegian Armed Forces and has for the past two years been wholly or partially leased out from VIS to the Ocean Innovation Catapult Centre in Bergen.
– We are very pleased to have Bjarte on board as general manager of the Ocean Innovation Catapult Center. This strengthens both the catapult center and Norway's capacity for prototyping and testing technological solutions for the ocean industries, says chairman of the catapult centre and CEO of GCE Ocean Technology Owe Hagesæther.
The catapult centre offers access to important and future-oriented technological infrastructure and expertise - as well as facilitating innovative companies to develop prototypes, test, simulate and visualize their ideas so that they develop faster, better and with less risk.
