Workshops and latest news
There will be keynote presentation from IFREMER on the experience from French minerals licenses and vision for deep sea exploration. Harald Brekke from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate will talk about exploration gaps and information sought to improve resource estimates in Norwegian waters.
Furthermore, we will have a session where you will be presented with new joint initiatives and test facilities that are aiming to accelerate the knowledge gathering.
A key part of the event will be two round-table workshops, where we expect lively discussions on framework, business models for explorations, value chain possibilities, industry roadmap and national RDI strategy.
An important delivery will be to list key actions and areas of collaboration to accelerate deep sea minerals exploration.

Dinner 2 June
A seminar about the launching of data from the mapping on the Norwegian continental shelf, is held by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate 2 June.
We expect many joint participants and will host a tapas dinner 2 June 19:00-21:00 at Hotell Victoria in Stavanger.
This event is hosted by GCE Ocean Technology, Norwegian oil and gas, GCE NODE and Norwegian Forum for Marine Minerals.
