We are strengthening our efforts towards EU work and are looking for an EU Advisor for our office in Bergen. Good knowledge of the EU system and Horizon Europe and experience from the ocean industries and energy transition is an advantage.

The EU Advisor will work to mobilize increased cooperation and participation in EU projects, focusing primarily on the production and storage of offshore renewable energy, energy systems, autonomy, digitalization, environmental monitoring, and CCUS.

This position is a central part of the strategy to increase value creation in the business sector through increased participation in international research and innovation projects, as well as the further development of Norway as a maritime nation.

The EU Advisor will join as a dedicated resource in a team along with other employees at GCE Ocean Technology who work on research and innovation projects, and will strengthen our work towards key networks in our EU efforts.

The EU Advisor will have the main responsibility to identify opportunities for the cluster and its members in Horizon Europe and other relevant programmes at the EU level.
