The Research Council of Norway has announced calls for both innovation projects and demonstration projects with application deadline 7 June.
– As we await the details about the calls expected to be available in April, we have quite a good idea about what to expect based on previous calls, says Jon Hellevang R&D Manager in GCE Ocean Technology. His main objective is to help companies identify and apply for the right funding schemes.

What is the right programme is varying between projects and depending on factors such as; purpose of the call vs. your project, innovation vs research, your project team, your planned timeline, ownership/IPR etc.
– Public funding is not a goal in itself, but a means to realise your best project. In many cases, the most efficient way to the market is in direct collaboration with your customers, states Hellevang.
