Can you tell us more about the current job opening at Ocean Innovation Catapult Center?
Absolutely! We're looking for an advisor to join our team starting next year who will be overseeing our activities within subsea technology.
First and foremost we are looking for someone who is passionate about driving innovation within that specific area within the ocean industry. We can offer among other, a small but great working environment.
Could you shed some light on Ocean Innovation's role in the industry?
Sure! Ocean Innovation specialize in design, prototyping, testing, and verification. Our primary goal is to shorten the journey from concept to market, helping with rapid development and implementation of innovative ideas for green transition in the industry. .
Where is the Catapult based, and how does it operate within the innovation landscape?
Our headquarters are situated in Bergen, and we're deeply integrated with the leading innovation hub at Marineholmen. This strategic positioning allows us to collaborate closely with the prominent innovation community, fostering a conducive environment for growth and development.
However, our facilities are located not only in Bergen, but also throughout the Norwegian coast from south to north.
Besides facilities, what other offerings do you provide?
Alongside our state-of-the-art facilities, we provide services for innovative SMEs together with our industry- and R&D partners, such as seminars, insight projects and reports to identify industrial driven needs and developing new state-of-the-art testing facilities.
Who are the key stakeholders or owners of Ocean Innovation?
Our owners include Vestlandets Innovasjonsselskap (VIS), GCE Ocean Technology, NCE Seafood Innovation Cluster, Additech AS and Marineholmen RASLAB AS.
