Julie Bernhardsen and Andrea Nygaard Olsen from BI Business school.

We are proud to welcome two talented students from BI Norwegian Business School to GCE Ocean Technology this autumn.

Andrea Nygaard Olsen and Julie Bernhardsen will bring their expertise and energy to our projects over the coming months.

Projects and Events

Andrea Nygaard Olsen will be joining us full-time from August to October, focusing on project management and event coordination. With a background in sociology, psychology, and management, as well as experience in a variety of roles, Andrea brings a broad skill set to our team.

She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Leadership and Organisational Psychology at BI Bergen and has previously held leadership roles, including as Head of Projects at BISO.

Her strong interest in project management will be invaluable as she digs into our ongoing initiatives, particularly in our work with the Blue Quantum Leap project, which aims to strengthen exports in the ocean industries.

I am excited to join the team and look forward to contributing to our projects, especially the Blue Quantum Leap and Ocean Young initiatives, Andrea Nygaard Olsen.

Communications Assistant

Julie Bernhardsen, who is studying digital marketing at BI Norwegian Business School, will be working part-time with us from August to November. Her main focus will be on social media and digital communications.

Julie has already gained solid experience from previous roles in customer service and organisational work, and she is now excited to gain practical experience in marketing and communications.

Her role will also include participating in the planning and execution of events, which will provide her with valuable insights into the maritime industries and the offshore sector.

I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learned at school into practice and acquiring new knowledge and methods here at GCE Ocean Technology, Julie Bernhardsen.

We look forward to seeing what Andrea and Julie will accomplish during their time with us, and we are confident that they will bring fresh perspectives and ideas to our work.

Welcome to the team, Andrea and Julie!
