The deadline to apply for demonstration and innovation projects through the Research Council of Norway is 16 October. Let us help you craft a successful application and secure your share of the funding.

The Innovation Project call is targeting companies with projects with research and development activities, while the Demonstration Project call is aimed for projects that test and verify new solutions with end-users.

Some key characteristics:

  • 1-20 million NOK in support per project
  • 25-50% of project costs are covered
  • 1-4 years in project length

The Research Council of Norway has announced more than 1.1 billion available in totalt.

See the call for proposals for more details.

Some Important Details

Please note that the Demonstration project, like the earlier DEMO2000 call, is now covered in the call for Innovation Project.

The header in the webpage is stating application deadline to be 20 December, but this is only related to the topic “industry and services”, while the other thematic topics like energy, petroleum and maritime have deadline 16 October.

You should also be aware that some topics have smaller maximum aid.

We Can Help You

We can help you find and apply for the right funding scheme, as this is varying between projects depending on factors such as; purpose of the call vs. your project, innovation vs research, your project team, your planned timeline, ownership/IPR etc.
