Recruiting a student intern can bring several benefits to your company. Interns provide fresh perspectives and up-to-date academic knowledge, helping your business stay innovative and competitive.

Practical Information about Internship - Bachelor’s Degree

An internship is an unpaid period of work at a company relevant to the student’s field of study and involves 240 hours of work, typically spread over two full days per week on average from August to November or January to April (completed over approximately 15 weeks).

During this period, students are also required to attend 4-5 mandatory sessions at the school, which the company is expected to accommodate. The internship should generally be completed by December 1st/May 1st to allow for the submission of a project report and an oral exam.

Bachelor’s Degree Programmes:

  • Real Estate, Law, and Economics
  • Business Development and Entrepreneurship
  • Finance
  • Digital Communication and Marketing
  • Marketing Management
  • Economics and Administration
  • Business Law and Economics
  • Organizational Psychology, HR, and Leadership

Application Deadlines: November 1st for bachelor students

By this date, the student must have secured an internship with the company (or at least be in the final stages of the process), and the learning contract, CV, cover letter, application form, and other documents must be submitted to us by the student. After this, our internship team takes about 2-4 weeks (depending on the number of applicants) to review all applications and notify both the student and the company of the outcome.

Requirements for the Company

The company must have been in operation for a minimum of three years, have at least five employees, and have an annual turnover of at least NOK 5 million (some adjustments are possible, and the company is evaluated individually). It is also essential that the student has a contact person/mentor throughout the internship who can provide support and ensure easy communication with us. The student should perform tasks relevant to their field of study and not be assigned "menial tasks" such as cleaning the storage room, collecting mail, making coffee, etc.

We require that a learning contract is completed before the internship begins and that a final certificate/report is provided to the student at the end of the internship. The learning contract is filled out together with the student and serves as a working sketch describing expectations and types of tasks. The final certificate is considered documentation of a valid internship and should be submitted by the student along with the project report at the end of November.

Why Become an Internship Company

By becoming an internship company, you gain access to updated academic knowledge through the student and create an arena for mutual learning. You get help to solve specific challenges and problems and enhance your brand visibility within the student community. It is also an excellent way to meet soon-to-be graduates who may become future colleagues.
