Amundsen Kabel is gearing up for growth while securing Norway’s critical submarine infrastructure. We spoke with General Manager Cecilie Tingvoll Hope about their plans and challenges ahead.

This week, we spoke with Cecilie Tingvoll Hope about her work at Amundsen Kabel – a supplier of submarine cables.
1. What is your role in Amundsen Kabel?
I am the General Manager and co-owner of Amundsen Kabel.
2. Your primary focus at work right now?
We have recently taken on a vital role in the emergency preparedness and security of Norway’s critical submarine infrastructure.
Our primary focus is to manage this responsibility in a prudent and effective manner.
Additionally, we are developing a strategy to scale and expand into new markets. This involves developing a robust strategy for recruitment, investments, sales and beyond.
3. Biggest future challenges and opportunities?
Naturally, entering new markets presents a significant yet exciting challenge, with all that it entails.
However, we are confident that the exceptional competence and experience of our team will make us a welcome and valued partner for new clients.
4. Best part of being a cluster member?
Being part of a cluster provides a unique opportunity to connect with people with a wide range of expertise and experience, who are eager to share their knowledge and insights.
