Join the Norwegian CCS Delegation to South Korea

Explore business opportunities in a rapidly growing CCS market.
South Korea is making significant investments in carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies to achieve its ambitious climate goals.
To support Norwegian companies in exploring business opportunities in this market, Innovation Norway and the Norwegian Embassy in Seoul invite interested companies to join a Norwegian trade delegation to South Korea on 11–12 June, 2025.
This initiative builds on the Korean CCUS business delegation’s visit to Bergen in October 2024 and provides a unique opportunity for Norwegian companies to engage directly with key stakeholders in the Korean CCS sector.
The programme is planned in conjunction with the K-CCS International Conference in Seoul.
Why participate
As participants in the programme, the Norwegian companies will get a unique opportunity to:
- acquire useful information and insights about the Korean CCS market, i.e., Korean industrial efforts and developments domestically and in the Asia Pacific region, needs, stakeholders, governmental regulations & strategies etc.
- promote/present their technology solution/services to Korean decision makers
- network and speed date with relevant Korean stakeholders
Who should participate?
Norwegian companies offering CCS technology, storage solutions, CO₂ transportation, maritime solutions, subsea engineering, and geophysical assessment and more.
South Korea is particularly looking for reliable, modular CO₂ capture technologies and maritime solutions for CO₂ transport and storage.
